Many cities.
One trust.
We help families with ties across Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and the region plan what they own, who it goes to, and how it lasts.
Talk to usWhat is a trust?
A trust is a legal arrangement. You hand assets to a trustee. The trustee holds them for the people you choose, under rules you write.
Why families use one
Continuity
Assets keep working if you pass away or can’t manage them yourself.
Control
You set conditions, such as an age or a purpose, instead of handing over everything at once.
Calm
Clear rules can reduce disputes, and trust assets may avoid the delays of probate.
Where Baan Legacy fits
We are not your trustee. We plan, coordinate and stay with your family, separate from the trustee who holds the assets.
Baan Legacy
Plans and coordinates. Stays with your family across generations.
Professional trustee
Holds the trust assets under your trust deed. Can be replaced if needed.
Lawyers and tax advisers
Give legal and tax advice in each country.
What we do
Cross-border estate planning
One plan across several legal systems, so your family isn’t caught between countries’ rules when it matters.
Trust structuring
We design the structure and work with licensed trustees and lawyers to set it up properly.
Funding the plan, coordinated with licensed advisers
We work out how the plan is paid for, and coordinate the licensed professionals who put it in place.
Succession and family governance
Clear roles, clear rules, and a plan the next generation actually understands.
Is Baan Legacy right for you?
A good fit
- Families with assets, property, businesses or relatives across Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia or elsewhere in Southeast Asia
- You worry about what happens if you can’t decide for yourself, for example through Alzheimer’s or a coma
- You fear a divorce or creditors could reach your children’s assets
- Someone in the family struggles with money, overspends, or could fall for scams
- You sense conflict ahead in the family
- Business owners who want the company to outlast them
- People willing to work with lawyers, trustees and tax advisers as one team
Not a fit
- Anyone looking to hide assets or avoid disclosure
- Anyone who wants a quick tax trick or guaranteed returns
- People who want a product sold, not a plan built
What we plan for, generation by generation
- Years 0–5: Set it up right
Map assets, set the structure, appoint the trustee, write down your wishes.
- Years 5–30: Hand it over
Move leadership and wealth to the next generation without a family fight.
- Years 30–100: Keep it alive
Review the plan as laws, markets and the family change. New branches, new spouses, new countries.
- Beyond: Plan for the limit
Trusts have legal time limits. We plan for the longest term the law allows, then for what comes after.
